LAMININE FAQs
What is LAMININE?
LAMININE is an all-natural supplement that is made up of 3 ingredients: fertilized avian egg extract, marine protein, and pea protein. Egg bioactive growth factors that are naturally found in LAMININE, including FGF-2 (Fibroblast Growth Factor-2), are scientifically proven to support healthy DNA as you age by repairing and lengthening your telomeres. Your telomeres shorten with age, which can lead to several health issues.
What are telomeres?
Telomeres are the ends of chromosomes that protect DNA, similar to plastic caps at the end of shoelaces that prevent them from fraying. Telomeres get shorter as you age because every time your cells divide, your telomeres gradually get shorter. When your telomeres are shorter, you are more likely to have health issues that come with aging. But lengthening your telomeres can slow down and reduce the effects that come with aging. Supplementing with LAMININE can help repair and lengthen your telomeres. A study has shown that LAMININE increases telomerase activity by 4-fold greater, in 90 days. This revealed that taking LAMININE supports telomerase activity, which results in longer telomeres for improved health.
What are bioactive growth factors?
Bioactive factors, including growth factors, are components that have been studied to help rebuild tissue and cartilage by stimulating nearby bone cells. A biofactor called FGF-2 has been shown in studies to stimulate almost all types of cells including types of stem cells, to function to regenerate and stimulate tissue repair.
Which bioactive growth factors are in LAMININE?
LAMININE contains FGF-2 (Fibroblast Growth Factor-2), TGF (Transforming Growth Factor), and PDGF (Platelet Derived Growth Factor). LAMININE also contains Lysyl Oxidase (LOX) and Interleukin Receptor-1 Antagonist Protein (IRAP), which are not growth factors but are important cellular factors. LOX is a collagen crosslinking enzyme for building strong fibers of collagen and elastin that are found to build connective tissues in skin tissue and cartilage in joint tissue. IRAP is the body's own natural component that supports anti-inflammation throughout the body.
What is FGF-2?
FGF-2 (Fibroblast Growth Factor-2) is one of the egg bioactive growth factors naturally found in LAMININE. It has been shown in studies to lengthen your telomeres to support DNA health as you age. It also plays a role in supporting cells of various tissues and some stem cells, including bone cells to help stimulate cartilage production to help with joint relief.
What makes LAMININE different from other growth factor supplements?
LifePharm uses a proprietary low heat and hygienic drying technique with no chemicals, in order to preserve active factors and their functions. It is not known nor have other companies tested their fertilized avian egg extract for active FGF2 and other factors that we have listed, which are important for cellular health and regeneration.
How does LAMININE work with other supplements?
The ingredients in LAMININE combined with its bioactive growth factors has been shown to support joint tissue health, blood vessel integrity, and wound repair. When combined with other LifePharm supplements, LAMININE supports immune cell production, the digestive system and colon health. It was also these regenerative qualities that were observed in subjects consuming LAMININE daily for 90 days. Their white blood cells showed better DNA protection with increased telomere repair at the cellular level. Healthy cells tend to have better cell regeneration and longer telomeres, a signal that the body is under less physical and oxidative stress.
How do bioactive growth factors compare to human growth hormone?
Bioactive growth factors in LAMININE are bio-identical to growth factors found in humans but have slightly different functions for the body. FGF-2, a bioactive growth factor in LAMININE, stimulates cells to produce collagen and elastin in skin, blood vessels, and some bone and joint tissue regeneration. It also supports the pancreas, balances blood sugar, reduces inflammation and helps cells regenerate. Bioactive growth factors including FGF-2, TGF, and PDGF, can be obtained from consuming LAMININE. LAMININE also contains an anti-inflammatory agent (IRAP) and LOX to help strengthen skin and connective tissues.
Human growth hormone naturally regulates body composition, body fluids, muscle and bone growth, sugar and fat metabolism, and possibly heart function. Real human growth hormone can only be obtained by prescription from a physician. Human growth hormone is typically given to children that have stunted growth and lack this hormone. Some supplements claim that they can help increase levels of specific amino acids that support production of human growth hormone.
Where is the fertilized avian egg extract from?
The fertilized avian eggs come from a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) inspected poultry farm in the USA. The chickens are raised cage-free and are fed high quality whole grains.
What makes the fertilized avian egg extract different from normal eggs you can purchase at the grocery store?
The eggs used in LAMININE are naturally fertilized eggs, incubated for a very specific time and temperature, to extract growth factors at their peak activity. The eggs are non-GMO, and no chemicals or extreme heat are used in processing the fertilized avian egg extract to maintain the function and activity of growth factors.
Does LAMININE contain stem cells?
No, LAMININE does not contain stem cells. LAMININE contains FGF2 which has been shown in studies to stimulate the stem cells in the body for repair.
Where are the ingredients in LAMININE sourced from?
The fertilized avian egg extract and pea protein in LAMININE are sourced from North America. The marine protein in LAMININE is sourced from the Pacific Ocean near New Zealand.
Is LAMININE safe to consume?
Yes, LAMININE is safe to consume. It is made with high quality ingredients and doesn’t contain any synthetic substances or pharmaceuticals. LAMININE is manufactured in the USA in a facility with certifications for current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Federal Drug Administration (FDA) compliance. This facility uses top-of-the-line equipment for developing, sampling, and testing all finished bottles of LAMININE, and has an RPI Quality Control Lab that performs physical, analytical, and microbiological testing of raw material and the finished product.
Who should not take LAMININE?
Anyone over the age of 12 can consume LAMININE.
Though the supplement is considered safe for everyone, if you’re expecting a child or you’re nursing and you want to give LAMININE a try, you should consult with your physician first. If you have any concerns or medical conditions, please consult with your physician first before taking LAMININE.
